In May 2004,sum 41 had visited the Congo to film a documentry in association with the charity War Child Canada to film about the Civil War and the impact it has done. The war that is going on there has killed more then 3.5 million people since 1998.While they were there a battle broke out just outside the bands hotel. They were forced to hide inside the hotels washroom.Thats when a U.N. peacekeeper named Chuck Pelletier created a plan to evacute sum 41 and other people from the hotel to an armed vehicle. They all ran through the battle, dodging bullets and eventually got to the vehicle.Chuck Pelletier baseically saved sum 41's lives which gave them the idea to name there new cd "Chuck" in honor of him.The cd will be coming out on October 12,2004.
